2020 was a challenging year for a lot of businesses throughout the UK and the rest of the world. The Covid-19 pandemic had a major effect of many businesses and unfortunately saw the demise of many. We were fortunate enough to be an indirect supplier to the NHS which was a major contribution to being able to ride the storm and come through the other side.
This was not without challenges, we had to restructure the company to ensure it had a future with a major impact on our workplace and staffing level to ensure the safety of all members of staff whilst maintain the supply of goods to critical customers. It has been a steep learning for all businesses, ensuring the health & safety needs, both physically and mentally, of all staff are met and appropriate rules and procedure are adhered too, thereby ensuring our workplace became and remained Covid secure.
On behalf of the board, I would like to personally thank our customers and suppliers who have all contributed in keeping the business operating and also issue massive thank you and well done to all of our staff who have worked hard through challenging times to ensure we came out of the other side.
The start of 2021 seems to be very positive and hopefully the start of better things to come, we are well prepared should the covid-19 pandemic within the UK impact the population in new ways and have systems in place which will help us cope if our business is impacted by this.
As Captain Sir Tom Moore stated “Tomorrow will be a good day!” sheer hard work and determination will help us achieve this. Here’s to all of our customers and suppliers, old and new and all of our staff continuing to keep safe and well.
