Custom Wheelchair BUS system
Working together with Curtiss Wright Industrial Group, Greenstock designed and developed a completely custom connector system for use on powered wheelchairs. The Rnet Wheelchair BUS system provides data and power to various electronic and drive modules around the wheelchair enabling functions such as intelligent seating, attendant control, lighting and stability control.
using a combination of injection moulded part, turned pin electrical contacts and overmoulding we produced a connection system incorporating both cable and pane mount components. Not only were we able to provide a much more aesthetically pleasing and user friendly product but we also reduced the cost of the overall package by 40%
